Yesterday Twitter was blowing up by 'Team Nicki' fans after TMZ reported that Nicki Minaj had been struck in the lip by her best friend Safaree Samuel, who also happens to be her hypeman. This all happened last night while they were poolside at a hotel in Dallas. Nicki and Safaree are denying the allegations, however the Dallas Observer has obtained the police report and released it to the public(which you can view here).
To sum up the police report, Nicki instructed a hotel employee to call the police after getting into an argument with Safaree. Apparently a verbal argument started while they were poolside, and escalated in the hotel room. In the room Nicki tried getting one of her suitcases from Safarees possession and he ended up picking up the suitcase and striking Nicki in the face.
If this is true....what a damn shame. I mean police reports don't lie. But, for the record, Nicki and Safaree are still denying that Safaree ever 'layed a hand on her' which is technically true BUT, he did strike her in the face with a suitcase, which is a definite no no! How do you guys feel about the situation?
From what I read on bossip, she was trying to get to the suitcase to make sure he didn't take any of her stuff. In the process of trying to grab the suitcase from nicki safaree caused the suitcase to hit her mouth which in turn cased her to bruise her lip. The way I read it, it kinda seems like it was an accident but even if it was they shouldn't deny it. Just clear everything up and explain what happen. *kanye shrug*
