Mariah Carey Gives Birth To Twins

Looks like April 30th is a very special day for new parents Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon! Not only does their wedding anniversary fall on this date, but they welcomed twins today around 12:07 p.m at an L.A. hospital. The news was confirmed by Mariahs representative, who told the Associated press that the baby girl was born first, weighing 5Ibs 3 oz. and 18 inches long, while her brother was 19 inches long 5Ibs 6 oz.

The craziest thing about it is that Nick predicted the whole thing. While guest hosting The Talk on Thursday Nick said,

"I'm not trying to be a psychic, but we renew our vows every year so It's probably going to be in the hospital this year. I can feel it,we got the minister coming in, so this gown will not be a wedding gown, but a hospital gown".

Mariah Carey Gives An Exclusive Look At Baby Nursery

The diva and her hubby Nick Cannon gave an exclusive first look at their babies nurseries in the Life and Style Magazine. The couple are expecting twins this spring and are fully prepared for their babies arrival, decorating two nurseries in their NYC apartment and Bel-Air mansion. 

Mariah admits that designing the nurseries was a challenge, "I feel like I'm bringing two individuals into the world, so I wanted to do more than cookie-cutter styles in blue and pink." Nick also played a major role in the interior design plan recommending  pink accented cribs and green bedding. Way to go Nick!

Mariah Carey Decorates Her Belly

After a pregnancy scare yesterday which landed her in the hospital, Mariah Carey Tweeted a photo of her butterfly painted belly.

"My attempt @ festiveness on 327! For ATLITL thank u + I♥U! Comin soon #dembabies! LYMA+thanx 4 making me happy:)"

I swear this has been the longest pregnancy in Hollywood history. Seems like she's  been pregnant for years!

Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Are Having A Boy......and A Girl!

If having twins isn’t enough of a blessing for Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon, having both a boy and a girl tops it off. The couple recently announced the sex of their unborn children and they couldn’t be more ecstatic about the results. Mariah shared the news with Life & Style Magazine.

"Even before we announced it was twins, I was trying to keep everything genderneutral because I didn’t want to impose an identity on them too soon. There were fan contests on Twitter about what gender they are and rumors about them being two boys or two girls — but nobody guessed this. It’s been a long journey–but a happy one."

Mariah has had previous pregnancy complications including a miscarriage, so I know she is thanking the angels above, about this one.The twins are due in April.

Nick Cannon confirmed that the couple are expecting baby twins. He posted a holiday card online and for his fans and made it clear that he was thankful for the new "additions" to his family. Cute!

Yes, The Rumors Are True!

After what feels like years of rumors and speculation, Mariah Carey has finally confirmed that she is indeed preggers. She came clean on the Today Show, Thursday morning and revealed bits and pieces of her exclusive interview with Access Hollywood, where she goes in full detail about her pregnancy.  

In the interview Carey talks about a miscarriage that occurred two years ago, and how she is beyond happy about her pregnancy. Her husband Nick Cannon also talks about his excitement, and about becoming a father.

It's great to see the couple so happy! Congrats!
