Jersey Shore Demands More!!

Who would've thought that a couple of guidos and guidettes from 'Joisey' would become one of America's guilty pleasures? Not only did they fist-pump their way into our hearts, but are trying to pump more moolah into their bank accounts as well. Tsk tsk. Seems like they're letting the 'fame' go to their heads and going the route like so many reality stars *cough* Spencer *cough* Heidi. Whatever happened to the down to earth Jersey people we've learned to love so well?

According to TMZ, if they do decide to primp up for a second season, they want a huge pay raise:

"Sources connected with the negotiation say MTV offered Snooki, Pauly D, "The Situation" and the others each a $10,000 signing bonus and $5,000 an episode. We're told the cast rejected the offer and made it clear -- they were negotiating "Friends" style ... everyone would get the same amount and it had to be a lot higher than MTV's offer. Sources say MTV came back and doubled the offer -- $10,000 an episode. The cast hasn't responded to the offer."

Come on now. 5 grand an episode is aaaallooootttt, especially just because they'd be getting paid to just live life. Hey, I don't blame them, but they better be careful they don't go Nene and Kim status and get boot off all together. [Real Housewives stars Kim and Nene were kicked off the show for being too diva and demanding a better make-up artist, hair, blah blah blah]. What do you guys think? Should MTV let them stay and pay?
