Nicole Richie Owns Over 200 Pairs Of Sunglasses!

In a new interview with Teen Vogue, House Of Harlow designer Nicole Richie confesses her obsession with shades, admitting owning over 200 pairs."But in my defense," she says, laughing, "I make sunglasses, so I have to research-shop, and I own every pair I've ever designed." She looks at sunglasses as a "completing look" and views them as "fun masks to accessorize your face." 

 We have to admit we envy Nicoles ability to pull out a pair of shades whenever she wants. Being from Seattle, it's an event for us if we are able to rock a pair of designer shades. I guess that's what we get for living in an area that rains 9 months out of the year :/.

Lauren Conrad Covers Teen Vogue

Returning to her starting roots, Lauren Conrad is the recent cover girl of Teen Vogue magazine. She talks about life after The Hills, and gaining respect in the fashion industry.

Lauren on life after The Hills.

"I told myself, This is the most I can do and still be happy with it. I left right before I went crazy!"

She adds,

"Being on a show like that is a lot more than people think. You're thrust into the spotlight. There's all this pressure to act a certain way. It's hard to adjust. You have to decide early on whether or not you're willing to do that."

Lauren on gaining respect in the Industry.

 "I've sacrificed and worked very hard to get where I am now. So whereas someone just getting out of fashion school may have to struggle for years to have the opportunity to start a clothing line, I've been working every single day since I was seventeen toward this. I'm also faced with different challenges."

She explains,

"I go into meetings, and people have this preconceived notion of me that I didn't work hard to get where I am."
