Yesterday, Kim Kardashian took to her blog and discussed teen pregnancy. She expressed her concern about young girls becoming pregnant at too young of an age.
" It seems that shows like Teen Mom are all of a sudden making teen pregnancy seem cool in the eyes of young girls. The kids from these shows are all over the news, even on the covers of magazines, and have been become almost like celebrities, but girls, these are not people you should idolize!"

If you read the articles about the show, they do nothing but talk about how the show reveals how hard it is for all of us. It doesn't glamorize anything! Well damn..... I understand why they became defensive about Kims comments, since she doesn't have the most respected history. But, I can also see Kims point of view too. Initially when Teen Mom premiered, there was little awareness about the consequences of teen pregnancy.
However, as each season comes around, I believe that MTV has done a great job portraying the girls as struggling mothers. By the end of each episode MTV always seems to emphasize the hardships of being a teen mom.
