The Source magazine did an exclusive 'back to school' spread with BET's 106 and Park's host Terrence and Rocsi, at Benjamin Banneker High School. I thought the idea of the spread was really cool, and Rocsi looks gorgeous as always! Can't forget how fyne Terrence looks too! :) Check out the pics from the spread.
ITS BACKKK! BET has officially signed the deal and The Game is back on primetime. Drew Sedora, who had quick role on the sitcom told S2S about The Game's comeback:
The show is getting picked up, so for people that have been petitioning and wondering, it is coming back to BET. So, hopefully, you will see me back,” Drew told S2S exclusively. “It is official. The deal has been done.”
“Right now, they’re just trying to figure out when it’s going to actually come back, as far as when we start filming the new episodes and things like that,” said Drew. “But BET has picked it up.”
“Everybody that petitioned—believe it or not—about the show getting cancelled, that is really what ultimately had BET even looking to pick it up,” she explained. “It was really dope. Everybody really loves the show and supports the show, so all I can say is keep watching.”
I'm really excited to see what happens with Melanie and Derwins marriage. If Drew is back then there will definitely be some major DRAMA.
Let me introduce you to a multi-talented artist by the name of Chrisette Michele. Many of you may only know her as the 'hook' on Jayz's song "Lost One", but let me assure you that this girls got TALENT! The 26 year old Long Island native released her debut album I AM ,2 years ago and proved to the world that she is a 'note' worthy artist. Nominated for a Grammy and two BET Awards I AM was a great success.
Well, Chrisette Michele is back with another album titled Epiphany which I love love loveee!!! For this new album Michele transitioned from her classical jazz sounds, to a more hip-hop soul vibe.
Michele explains, “On my new project I wanted to raise the bar and step-out of my comfort zone. I wanted to make songs that were more edgy, youthful and urban".
Collaborating with artists such as singer/songwriter Neyo, Chuck Harmony, and Claude Kelly, Michele def. expanded her musical style for this album. Check out one of my favorite songs on the album "Another One", which mixes rock guitars with hip hop drum patterns, this song is def. HOT! Album is in stores now.
Speaking of football, I am still waiting to here if The Game is coming back for a new season on BET after the CW canceled the show. I was pretty upset when I heard that the show was canceled because it is HILARIOUS!!! Football players and their wifey drama...I LUV IT!!! I've been watching season 1 and 2 reruns on BET and I reallllllyyyy hope BET picks up the show for a 4th season. A BET spokesperson has told TV Guide that they are "currently in negotations" to pick up The Game for its 4th season and that the "licensing issues are very complicated." Well I will definetly be keeping my fingers crossed! For those of you who aren't familiar with the show....check it out weekdays on BET.
