Being African myself, I love the fact that more designers are creating African inspired collections. Boxing Kitten has released the photos from their Spring/Summer 11'collection, which features African wax block print fabrics, vibrant colors, & flawless construction.
Boxing Kitten is a vintage inspired fashion brand, which celebrates the spirit of women worldwide.Their current inspiration is driven by "elements within the political and cultural climate of the Civil Rights Movement". Designer Maya. A. Lake embraces her vision as "ethnic rockability". I can definitely see African block print fabrics quickly exploding in the fashion industry.
